UKREiiF: Abbey Grange C of E Academy Triumphs at the Royal Armouries Sixth Form Debate Competition December 3rd, 2025 Mya Driver Generously sponsored by UKREiiF, the competition brought together talented debate teams from Abbey Grange C of E Academy, Beckfoot School, Bradford Grammar School, Guiseley School, The Grammar School at Leeds, Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College, Pudsey Grammar School, and Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate. Teams engaged in a full day of knockout rounds, culminating in a gripping final debate. Abbey Grange secured victory by successfully arguing against the motion: “Trial by jury should be removed in some cases.”In addition to the team success, individual accolades were awarded to outstanding debaters from Abbey Grange C of E Academy and Guiseley School, recognising their exceptional skill and poise throughout the competition.Organisers extended special thanks to UKREiiF, particularly Nathan Spencer, James Bywood, and Matt Christie, for their invaluable support in judging the debates.
