Glasgow’s student accommodation landscape is poised for a significant uplift, thanks to a substantial £18.85m funding secured by Urbanite Living from Paragon Bank. This investment will fuel the development of the Clyde Court project, a state-of-the-art student accommodation facility.

Designed by the renowned NW Architects, Clyde Court will stand tall with six storeys, offering 169 studio bedrooms. These modern living spaces are tailored to cater to the needs of students from the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde. Beyond just living quarters, the development promises a holistic student experience. Future residents can look forward to a range of amenities, including private dining kitchens, social study rooms, a cinema, gym, and recreational areas equipped with pool tables. Additionally, a dedicated cycle store will cater to the eco-conscious student community.

This collaboration between Urbanite Living and Paragon Bank isn’t their first. They’ve previously partnered on successful student accommodation projects in cities like Leeds and Sheffield, underscoring their combined expertise in this sector.

Simon Dekker, a senior relationship manager at Paragon, expressed enthusiasm about the Clyde Court project, highlighting its potential to address the growing demand for premium student accommodation in Glasgow. On the other hand, Adam Sadler, project director at Urbanite, emphasised the project’s role in rejuvenating a strategic plot in Glasgow and providing top-notch residential facilities.

For investors, this development signals a thriving opportunity in Glasgow’s real estate market, particularly in the student accommodation segment, which continues to show promise and growth potential.
