Sephora will expand its UK presence this summer with the opening of its first West End store on London’s Carnaby Street. The retailer will launch a new boutique‑style location at 5–7 Carnaby Street, covering more than 4,400 sq ft and offering 2,600 sq ft of trading space. The store introduces a compact format designed around curated product ranges, rapid‑service beauty support and Beauty Scan technology that provides tailored product recommendations.

The new opening supports Shaftesbury Capital’s strategy to strengthen Carnaby Street’s position as a hub for beauty retail. The addition of Sephora is set to enhance an existing line‑up that includes Charlotte Tilbury, PURESEOUL, Pixi and Aesop. The lease agreement reflects increasing demand for brands that combine specialist in‑store services with a strong digital offering.

Sephora UK continues to invest in nationwide expansion, and the Carnaby Street boutique marks a key milestone as its first West End site. The launch aligns with the area’s broader pipeline of new brands scheduled for 2026, including Edikted and K‑Way. The boutique format is intended to increase engagement with London’s beauty community and strengthen the retailer’s position within the capital’s competitive retail market.
