UKREiiF has announced a partnership with the Property Litigation Association (PLA) – a members’ organisation for professionals specialising in all aspects of contentious commercial, residential and agricultural property law – for its 2025 event.

As a leading industry body with over 1,700 members that plays an important role in lobbying for improvements in property law and the court service, and with the objective to improve equity, diversity and inclusion within the UK property industry, the PLA is a natural fit with the UK’s largest real estate and investment forum.

As part of the partnership, UKREiiF has offered the PLA 15 complimentary tickets for its junior members. To create opportunities for early-career property professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds, the tickets will only be available to junior PLA members who would not otherwise be able to attend, and will be subject to an application process.

The opportunity will enable junior PLA members to engage with industry leaders, expand their networks and gain valuable insights into the evolving real estate landscape.

Meanwhile, UKREiiF will benefit from the presence, insights and ideas of the next generation of property litigators.

The partnership will see the junior PLA hosting a session on the possible unintended consequences of the Renters’ Rights Bill at UKREiiF, bringing together key industry stakeholders for an interactive discussion on this significant piece of housing reform.

The UKREiiF partnership coincides with a significant milestone for the PLA, as the organisation celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2025.

Speaking about the partnership, Rebecca Campbell, Chair of the Property Litigation Association and Partner in BCLP’s Real Estate Disputes team, said:

“Both UKREiiF and the PLA have an important role to play in influencing and impacting practice within the UK real estate sector and we’re delighted to be coming together in this strategic partnership for 2025. Coinciding with our 30th anniversary, the collaboration will enable us to represent our members’ views, discuss topical legal issues and necessary improvements to property law, while giving a diverse range of early-career property professionals the opportunity to attend our industry’s largest and most important event”.
