Citra Living Acquires 821 Homes from Gatehouse Living Group

Citra Living, a subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group, has completed the acquisition of 821 rental homes from Gatehouse Living Group. The property deal, finalised on October 16, 2024, includes homes across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and the West Midlands, spread over nine schemes that were originally completed in 2018. This acquisition marks a significant expansion of Citra Living’s rental property portfolio, pushing the company’s total number of homes to over 5,000. More than 3,000 of these homes are already delivered and occupied, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing high-quality rental housing across the UK.

The transaction represents a notable development in the UK’s Build to Rent (BTR) sector, particularly within the single-family home (SFH) market.
