Hodge has extended a £5.1 million commercial investment facility to Lucent Halo Limited, facilitating the acquisition of the distinguished Hartham Park. This Grade II listed Georgian mansion, nestled within 49.6 acres in Wiltshire, is poised for a vibrant new chapter under its new ownership.

Constructed in 1795, Hartham Park has transitioned from a stately country residence to a hub for business and events, offering 68,000 square feet of versatile space. This includes 70 office units and seven private meeting rooms, just a stone’s throw from Corsham.

This acquisition, expertly navigated by Hodge’s commercial lending team, not only preserves the estate’s rich heritage but also secures the positions of the existing staff by transitioning them to the new company structure. The move has safeguarded the future of this historic property following its acquisition from administrators.

Lucent Halo Limited is set to rejuvenate Hartham Park, embarking on initiatives aimed at enhancing the property and its business offerings. The strategy includes significant marketing efforts, investment, and a vision for growth, with an aim to attract new enterprises to the site while continuing to support the current tenants.

Gareth Davies, Head of Business Development for Commercial Lending at Hodge, highlighted the complexity and the collaborative effort involved in finalizing the purchase. The deal showcases Hartham Park as an exceptional asset, offering Lucent Halo Limited a unique opportunity to transform it into a premier destination for serviced offices and events within a Grade II Listed setting surrounded by the picturesque Wiltshire countryside.

This transaction marks the second collaboration between Hodge and Lucent Halo Limited, building on a strong foundation laid during their initial deal in 2023. The successful completion of this venture underscores Hodge’s commitment to supporting significant real estate investments and their potential for positive community and economic impacts.
