Barberry Developments has made a strategic acquisition of a 15-acre development site at Bluebell Farm in Worcestershire, marking a significant expansion in their portfolio. This move is particularly noteworthy given Barberry’s impressive industrial & logistics development pipeline, which currently stands at 2.4 million sq ft with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of more than £355 million.

The new site is poised to host a cutting-edge business park, offering up to 225,000 sq ft of space that can be tailored for warehouses, factories, and offices. This acquisition aligns seamlessly with the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review’s proposed employment allocation.

Martyn Cartwright, a director at Barberry, expressed confidence in the project, emphasizing the potential of the Worcester location, which already houses major businesses. The company’s vision for the site includes providing bespoke build-to-suit units, catering to the specific needs of potential tenants.

With this acquisition, Barberry solidifies its position in the real estate development sector, leveraging its vast land assets and aiming to deliver high-quality commercial and residential spaces across various strategic locations.
