Birmingham is on the brink of an exciting transformation, with Clarion Housing’s development division, Latimer, calling for proposals for a £100m high-rise residential project in Digbeth. This initiative promises to reshape the city’s skyline and bring a fresh wave of modern living spaces to the area.

The project involves the construction of 480 apartments, distributed across two buildings with heights of 33 and 9 storeys. Perfectly positioned between Clyde Street and High Street, the development aims to blend seamlessly into the vibrant urban fabric of Digbeth.

Latimer’s vision for this development extends beyond just housing. It includes a commitment to over 50% affordable housing, ensuring a diverse and inclusive community. The plan also features a variety of amenities such as cycle storage and recreational spaces, both indoor and outdoor, along with essential infrastructure.

With a deadline for expressions of interest set for December 23, the project is poised to commence work by the following summer, marking a significant step in the regeneration of this brownfield site into a thriving residential area.
