Sovereign Network Group (SNG) has joined forces with the Hill Group to form the Sovereign Hill Partnership, a new venture focusing on the development of urban brownfield sites. This collaborative effort begins with the regeneration of the Buckskin and South Ham estates in Basingstoke, which consist of 4,700 homes and are highlighted as a regeneration priority in the local plan.

The partnership marks a significant development following the recent merger that created SNG, now overseeing a portfolio of 82,000 homes. With a goal to build 25,000 new homes in the coming decade, the Sovereign Hill Partnership is geared towards creating sustainable communities and advancing towards net-zero emissions.

Tom Titherington, SNG’s chief investment and development officer, stated the venture supports their vision to deliver high-standard, well-designed homes. Concurrently, Andy Hill, CEO of the Hill Group, expressed excitement over the partnership’s potential to positively impact many lives through quality regeneration.

The selection of the Hill Group as the investment partner was facilitated by Arcadis, setting the stage for SNG’s extensive housing and development strategy.
