The future of the St Columba’s and Woodmill school sites in Dunfermline is under discussion. With the schools set to close next summer, there is consideration for using these sites for housing.

Dunfermline North councillor Gavin Ellis has discussed the potential for housing development on these sites. Alan Paul, head of property services, provided information about the new Dunfermline Learning Campus, which is planned to open in August next year. He indicated that the council is in discussions about the best use for the former school sites, with housing being one of the options considered.

The new campus will include St Columba’s and Woodmill high schools and is expected to introduce a Fife College campus by 2025.
